Physical Development

Children will have Dance with Miss Katie this term They will be focusing on: negotiating space, creating shapes with their bodies, moving at different heights, creating actions and movements to follow a song or story and practicing for our nativity show!

Within their independent choosing time, children have free access to the outdoor area and we will continue to visit the garden on a weekly basis this term.

Withinthe provision and during adult led activities, children will:
Begin to show a preference for a dominant hand
Practise using scissors safely
Practise mark making and forming letters correctly
Travelling safely around our school environment
Jumping, skipping, rolling and hopping using obstacle courses and our climbingequipment (playground and the gardens)
