We’re thrilled to invite all families to this year’s Belham Summer Fair, taking place on Saturday 14th June from 12-4pm. As one of the biggest dates in the school’s calendar, it promises to be a joyful afternoon for all - packed full of fun, community spirit and unforgettable memories for our Belhamites.

For families who would benefit from a quieter environment, we’re offering a special quiet opening at 11:30am for SEND families.

What’s on?
‍
There’ll be something for everyone at this year’s fair. From a real-life fire engine to climb aboard, to the ever-popular bouncy castle, the whole family will be kept busy with numerous stalls and activities. As well as live entertainment, we've got games, crafts, and treats on offer - many of which are run by our entrepreneurial students who have worked hard to bring their own business ideas to life. Worried you won’t be able to keep up with all of the fun? Fear not, we’ll also have a spread of tasty cakes, popcorn, ice cream, hotdogs and a bar to keep you refreshed.

Why attend?

Beyond being an excellent day out that promises lots of smiles, the fair serves a vital purpose. Last year - thanks to our community’s generosity - the Friends of Belham raised an incredible £2,000. With every penny going directly back into enriching our students’ experiences - the money is able to be put into funding school trips, arranging specialist workshops and buying additional equipment. As one of our biggest fundraising activities in the year, your support really does make a difference.

The fair also strengthens the bonds within our school community. It's a wonderful opportunity for families, friends and neighbours to come together and celebrate everything that makes The Belham so special.

How can I help?

Of course, none of this would be possible without our brilliant volunteers. We’re still looking for more helping hands on the day – whether it’s helping set up and pack down, running a stall, serving food or helping at the bar, please do sign up HERE if you can lend a hand.

We’re also on the lookout for raffle prize donations. If you, your workplace or contacts can offer something, please email us at friendsofbelham@gmail.com or drop items off at the School Office. Raffle tickets will be on sale at school drop-off and pick-up on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th June so keep an eye out for our volunteers selling them at the gate.
