OUR VALUES

We share with the children our core values, which we've based on 'Being a Belhamite':

B is for Brave

What does it mean to be brave? What does brave feel like? When should we be brave, and when not?

H is for Helpful

How do we help others and when should we help others? What help should we take and receive?

I is for Inspirational

Inspirational is like having a bit of magic - it's when you have wonderful ideas and you spread these great ideas to others.

E is for Enthusiastic

How does enthusiasm show itself? Why is it better to be enthusiastic than not?

A is for Ambitious

We should aim for the stars - we can do so much and achieve our dreams if we develop an ambitious character.

T is for Trustworthy

You can be trusted to do the right thing, to share with your friends, to look after your belongings, to take care of your self and others - it's great when you can be trusted - and you can trust others.

L is for Loving

Who loves us? What does love feel like? What different loving feelings can we show? What actions come from when we are loving?

M is for Modest

Modest means you don't have to show off about what you have achieved but share your skills and talents in a quiet, kind way which makes others feel happy for you.

E is for Equal

We are all equal - whether we are girls or boys, wherever we come from, however much we have or don't have, however we look or talk, we are ALL EQUAL.
