OUR TRUSTEES

The Belham Primary School is operated by Dulwich Hamlet Educational Trust.

The Board of Trustees oversees both the Belham Primary School and Dulwich Hamlet Junior School, with a set of policies common to both schools, and each school has its own Local Governing Body.

SIMON LATHAM CHAIR OF GOVERNORS
Simon works for the Chief Executive of the City of London Corporation, and lives locally in Peckham. He was previously a governor at a leading primary school in south west London and enjoys using his knowledge and experience to support and challenge the Belham.

​LIZ COHEN
Liz joined the Belham as Head of School in September 2017. She is used to working in socially mixed schools, which has fuelled her passion for embedding diversity and inclusion into the curriculum.

NANCY WAYMAN
Nancy is Head of Music at the Belham. Prior to joining the school, she was Head of Literacy, year group leader and a class teacher at Dulwich Hamlet Junior School. Before completing her teacher training Nancy read music and then studied at drama school as a post graduate. She lives locally with her husband and four children.

ELIZABETH LINTON SMITH
Elizabeth is a higher level teaching assistant at the Belham. She worked as a teaching assistant at Dulwich Hamlet Junior School for over 20 years, and previously worked as a nurse.

JULIANE CAILLOUETTE NOBLE
Local resident Juliane is one of our community governors. Juliane's background is in nutrition and education, and after 5 years running Jamie Oliver's work in schools, she is now the Head of Development for the Sustainable Restaurant Association.

ROGER EDE
Roger Ede lives locally and has a child at the Belham. He helped to found the 'Friends of Belham' association. As a solicitor and judge in the criminal and family courts and prisons he has had to resolve conflicting views, understand people's differences, think analytically, make reasoned evidence-based decisions and act fairly. He will use this experience to support the school as it grows.

Tim currently works in regulatory compliance for a leading European investment bank in the city. Prior to this he trained as a Chartered Accountant for a Big 4 Accountancy Firm. Tim has a strong passion for education and social mobility and lives locally in East Dulwich.

DOMINIC MCNEILL
Dominic has two children at the Belham. He is currently Global Marketing Director for Nando's consumer goods business, with 20 years' experience spanning Proctor & Gamble, Ford Motor Co. and private equity. Dominic is passionate about education and health, having spent two years working at an HIV-focused NGO in Swaziland, and serves as non-exec director on the board of DrinkAware. He is excited to serve the school, the parents and the local community.
